Age restriction (JuSchG)

This platform contains adult-oriented content (kink and queer-adjacent events). Access requires self-declaration of age 18+ via the age gate. Use by minors is prohibited (JuSchG §§ 4, 5 / JMStV). No age-verification mechanism replaces this self-declaration; the platform relies on the age-gate cookie to prevent accidental access by persons under 18.

User obligations

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to use this platform.
  • You agree to submit only lawful content. Content that is illegal under German or EU law is prohibited.
  • Harassment, hate speech, and content targeting individuals for harm are prohibited.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of any event information you submit.

Content policy

Switch Berlin is a platform for queer, kinky, and conscious events, primarily focused on Berlin. We welcome:

  • LGBTQ+ community events
  • Kink and fetish events for adults (18+)
  • Conscious sexuality and intimacy workshops
  • Queer arts, culture, and social events

We do not list events that promote exploitation, lack informed consent, or violate applicable law.

Content moderation (DSA Art. 14)

Where content is found to violate these Terms or applicable law, the platform maintainer may take the following actions: hide the content from public view, remove it permanently, suspend the responsible account, or de-list the associated event or organizer.

Moderation decisions are made by the platform maintainer. We aim to review substantiated notices best-effort within 72 hours of receipt.

Appeal of moderation decisions (DSA Art. 20)

To appeal a moderation decision, reply to the moderation notification email within 14 days of receiving it. Include your reasons for appeal. The maintainer will review the appeal and respond within a reasonable time.

User-generated content

Ratings and flags are user-generated content. By submitting a rating or flag, you warrant that your submission is made in good faith and is accurate to the best of your knowledge. The platform does not endorse user-generated content and will remove content upon substantiated notice.

Governing law and jurisdiction

German law applies to these Terms and any disputes arising from use of this platform. For disputes with non-consumers, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin.

Right of withdrawal

This platform provides a free service. No contract for a paid product is concluded. Accordingly, no right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) arises under § 312g BGB.

Severability and termination

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Either party may terminate use of this platform at any time. Upon termination, existing data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
