This is our experimental shibari playground for all skill levels. Each month explores a new topic — from shame and semenawa to performance, advanced movement, or the mythical “3rd rope” in TKs. We rotate between two themes, always bringing new inspiration to your rope practice. Open to all levels with foundational knowledge. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your rope.
This month we are focusing on: Tension, tension, tension
Let the inside out and move! This lab invites you to experiment with tight ties, processing intensities through movement, and communicating with bodily tensions. We’ll explore the delight in exposure. Resistance. And provoking or playfully giving in on both ends of the rope.
Movement & Expression
These classes are dedicated to the research of the body, movement and the artistic side of shibari. The topic varies, and can be anything from dancing with rope or tying people using plastic bags to adding decorative and supportive elements to your harnesses. Inspiration is guaranteed at the Rope Lab!
Tickets:
30,00 € (regular)
25,00 € (low income)
20,00 € (hardship)
You can come alone or with a partner. You can tie yourself or your partner. Alternatively, you can partner up with another participant.
You can but do not need to bring any ropes as we will provide workshop ropes for you.
The class starts at 7 pm sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier so we can process your ticket and welcome you. Once the class has started we do not allow entry.
