What to know:
Rest well and eat a good meal at least 3 hours before your scheduled time slot. It is not recommended to consume alcohol or recreational drugs within 24 hours before the suspension. Stay hydrated and avoid taking blood thinners. Please let Luna know of any medical conditions which could impact your suspension.
What to bring:
Comfortable clothes, anything you need for your experience, up to 2 witnesses

## If you purchase a slot the base price includes:
- booking Karada House for your suspension
- booking Luna & assistant to facilitate your suspension
- 2 hooks (for more hooks, please consult Luna)
- you can bring up to 2 people to witness

### Luna Duran (she/her)
Luna Duran was born in the Andes of Bolivia. Her life revolves around breaking skin serving as a professional body piercer since 2007, international body art educator since 2018, and extreme ritual performance artist currently appearing on several stages around Europe and the Americas.
### I do not have any experience with hook suspension and I am not sure I can do it. Is experience necessary?
It is absolutely alright to not have any experience with this beforehand. Suspension is multifaceted and it’s impossible to predict the outcome. In Luna’s opinion, once you have been pierced for the first hook you have already taken a step that most people will not and I hope that you do not push yourself beyond that for which you are ready. Luna will coach you as much as she knows how but does not consider it a failure in any way if you cannot lift off. There is much to gain at any level of the experience.
