Caritia invites participants to this guided hands-on workshop that defines what Pressure Points are, where (and how) to find them, with suggestions for adaptations for different bodies and abilities. Caritia’s aim is to present from a foundation of boundaries, consent and a framework that cares for each person’s well being. Let’s lusciously explore this dimension of pain and pleasure together.
What we will explore
- Arrival and introductions – to allow us to know who is gathering
- Boundaries and negotiation – to establish how each person wishes to explore, within their capacity
- Anatomy – pressure points can potentially be a full-body practice, and it is important to get to know the what, where and how
- Care and health – establishing how each person in the constellation is cared for throughout and what to consider before, during, and after play.
- Hands-on experiences with different sensations – participants will be practising on themselves, as well as on others.
- Feedback and close
